Welcome to Pathways to Reading (PTR), a teacher professional development training program and reading curriculum.

The reading curriculum is for beginning (K-2nd) and struggling (3rd grade up) readers. The primary focus of PTR is to help teachers understand, and apply in the classroom, the five scientifically validated core components of the reading process: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary and Comprehension.

PTR provides prevention and intervention strategies for the regular education teacher, special education and all levels of an RTI (Response to Intervention) model.
